Islamabad: Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to raise the issue of FIA notice on the Hamud-ur-Rehman Commission report in Parliament and challenge it before the court.
The FIA took notice of the posting of a video based on the contents of the Hamud-ur-Rehman Commission report on the founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s X account.
PTI Central Secretary General Umar Ayub Khan has also asked the FIA for a copy of the Hamudul Rehman Commission report. Umar Ayub Khan has sent a written reply to the notice to the FIA, through the mediation of Dr. Babar Awan. Sent.
Umar Ayub’s lawyers have responded to the FIA saying that the FIA sent a defamatory notice to our client Umar Ayub Khan asking vague, dubious and illegal questions. The notice is related to the events related to the fall of Dhaka, on which the Government of Pakistan has established a commission.
The written reply states that this commission submitted an interim report to the state in 1972 and a full report in 1974 which was neither rejected nor denied its contents. He also recorded the statements of General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi and made them a part of the report, the Hamudur Rehman Commission report is available in the Cabinet Division.
Umar Ayub has written in response that FIA is neither a department of historians, nor is it an institution above the Supreme Court or the High Courts, the only purpose of this notice of FIA is the most popular political leader of the country Khan and his Jamaat Secretary General Umar Ayub are to be targeted for revenge, FIA should provide a copy of the Hamudur Rehman Commission report to prepare the reply.
Umar Ayub will also exercise the right to raise the issue of propaganda against him by the FIA through this notice in Parliament and challenge it before the court.
