Gaza: The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has announced that it will not send a delegation to participate in the Cairo talks.
According to foreign media, in the statement issued by Hamas, it has been said that the implementation of the agreement reached on July 2 should be ensured. Conciliators should present their plan to implement the points agreed in the July 2 talks in the light of US President Joe Biden’s ceasefire vision and the UN Security Council resolution.
Hamas further said that instead of insisting on more periods of conciliatory talks, they should insist on Israel to implement the points agreed upon during the talks. The new proposals give Israel an excuse to massacre our people.
Last week, the United States, Egypt and Qatar invited Israel and Hamas to a new round of negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Cairo on August 15. Since October 7, 2023, more than 40,000 Palestinians have fallen victim to Israeli brutality in Gaza.
