Jeddah: US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken has said that a ceasefire agreement has been reached in Gaza.
Speaking to the media in Jeddah, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that Israel has been given suggestions for alternative measures instead of the operation in Rafah. The proposals will be discussed in Washington next week.
The US Secretary of State said that the sea bridge to Gaza for the delivery of aid will start in 2 weeks. Hamas does not care about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and will not make concessions in negotiations.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken arrived in Saudi Arabia on the first leg of his Middle East tour in connection with Gaza ceasefire efforts. He will go to Egypt from Saudi Arabia and then visit Israel.
This is the sixth visit of the US Secretary of State to the Middle East since the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
