Peshawar: The group involved in the attack on Chinese engineers in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been arrested.
According to the sources of the investigation team, the same group responsible for the attack on Chinese citizens in Dasu a few years ago was involved in the Shangla suicide attack. 3 accused facilitators of the attack have been arrested.
The sources of the investigation team further said that the vehicle of the suicide bomber was parked at the petrol pump for several days. The Anti-Terrorism Department has obtained important information about the vehicle. The CTD of the handler who received the vehicle has also received its data. The federal government has been informed about the investigation into the attack on Chinese citizens.
Last month, 6 people including 5 Chinese nationals were killed in a suicide attack on a foreigner’s car in Shangla.
