ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad acquitted founder PTI, Sheikh Rasheed and Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a case related to Azadi March.
Judicial Magistrate Malik Muhammad Imran pronounced a safe verdict. The court also acquitted Sadaqat Abbasi and Ali Nawaz Awan.
Founder PTI, Sheikh Rasheed and others were booked under the provisions of section 144, vandalism, in police station I-Nine of 2022.
On the other hand, the court also acquitted PTI leader Shehryar Khan Afridi and other activists.
PTI leader Shehryar Afridi and workers were booked on May 9 under the provisions of arson and vandalism.
