Rawalpindi: Former Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi after getting bail from Islamabad High Court, from where he left for home along with his family.
Fawad Chaudhry, imprisoned in Adiala Jail, was released after the Islamabad High Court granted interim bail for three weeks in 22 cases of corruption.
Two days ago, the Islamabad High Court granted interim bail for three weeks in other 22 cases against him and directed him to appear in the related cases.
Fawad Chaudhry was released from the court late at night after reaching Robkar Central Jail, Adiala, Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, Fawad Chaudhry’s wife Haba Fawad Chaudhry and his loved ones reached the jail and took them home.
After the release, Fawad Chaudhary’s wife Haba Fawad also tweeted on the social networking site X and released a picture with Fawad in the car and expressed her gratitude.
