Lahore: Exports of services have reached 7.129 billion dollars in the financial year 2024.
There was an increase of 1.80% compared to 7.004 billion dollars in the same period last year. According to the report, information and communication technology exports increased significantly by 17.4% due to increase in permissible retention limit from 35% to 50% of export earnings of IT exporters in special foreign currency accounts of exporters.
It reached $2.3 billion during July-March 2024 as against $1.9 billion during the same period last year.
