Karachi: Federal Finance Minister Aurangzeb met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
During the meeting, it was decided to start the work by releasing funds for the main roads of the federal government in Sindh. The Sindh Chief Minister said that the Sindh government had released 7 billion rupees for the construction of the national highway a long time ago. The Chief Minister discussed with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on dualization of Mehran Highway and completion of Jamshoro to Sehun National Highway.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb assured to release funding for PSDP projects in Sindh. In the meeting, the economic problems of the country and their solutions were also discussed. Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government is taking effective measures for the improvement of the country’s economy. Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah, Federal Secretary Finance Imdadullah Bosal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Agha Wasif and Provincial Secretary Finance Fayyaz Jatoi also participated in the meeting.
