Peshawar: ANP chief Asfandyar Wali won the damages case against PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai, the court ordered Shaukat Yousafzai to pay Rs 15 crore as damages in the defamation case.
The session court of Peshawar heard the case of Rs 15 crore damages of ANP chief Asfandiar Wali. Tariq Afghan and Sajid Afridi were the lawyers of Advocate Asfandyar Wali.
Peshawar Additional Sessions Judge Ijazur Rehman gave the verdict in favor of Isfandiar Wali. The court ordered Shaukat Yousafzai to pay Rs 15 crore as damages.
The court said in the verdict that Shaukat Yousafzai did not appear in the court despite the summons. Unilateral action was taken against Shaukat Yousafzai for non-appearance.
Shaukat Yousafzai accused Isfandiar Wali of trading Pakhtuns for $25 million. In 2019, Isfandiar Wali filed a damages case against Shaukat Yousafzai.
