Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the national team for the tour of England and Ireland today.
According to the announcement made by PCB, the National Selection Committee will announce the Pakistan team squad for the tour of England and Ireland today. An 18-man squad will be selected for England and Ireland.
According to sources, PCB is likely to give more opportunity to batsman Usman Khan while Mohammad Rizwan is feeling better than before and will also be a part of the team.
The short training camp of the selected squad will be held in Lahore and the 3-day training camp will start from May 4 in Lahore. Assistant coach Azhar Mehmood will supervise the camp. The camp will focus on batting, bowling and fielding of the players.
The national cricket team will leave for a foreign tour on May 7. The national team will play a series of 3 T20 matches against Ireland, the national team will play their first match on May 10, second on May 12 and third match on May 14 in Dublin.
Pakistan cricket team will leave for England to play 4 T20 matches after completing the series against Ireland. The first match of the national team against England will be on May 22, the second on May 25, the third on May 28 and the fourth on May 30. The Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup is expected to be announced after the matches against England.
