Islamabad: Pakistan’s positive progress continues on the diplomatic front. Emir of Kuwait and Emir of Qatar accepted Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s invitation to visit Pakistan.
This is a major development in Pakistan’s further development of bilateral relations with Kuwait and Qatar. The visit of the Emir of Kuwait and the Emir of Qatar will be effective in increasing Pakistan’s investment and cooperation in other fields with Kuwait and Qatar.
The ambassadors of Kuwait and Qatar, posted in Pakistan, met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif separately.
Ambassador of Kuwait Nasir Abdul Rahman Jasir Al-Mutairi presented to the Prime Minister a letter from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in which the Prime Minister conveyed a message to the Emir to accept the invitation to visit Pakistan on mutually convenient dates.
The Qatari Ambassador also delivered to the Prime Minister a letter from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, accepting the Prime Minister’s invitation to pay an official visit to Pakistan on mutually convenient dates.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan deeply values its historic brotherly relations with Qatar and reiterated Pakistan’s firm determination to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
