RIYADH: Today is the 29th day of fasting in Saudi Arabia and people have been requested to submit testimonies in case of sighting of the moon.
According to Arab media, there will be an important meeting of the Supreme Court and local institutions to collect evidence of Eid al-Fitr moon sightings in Saudi Arabia, in which the received evidence of moon sightings will be examined.
If the evidence of the sighting of the moon is proved correct, then the Saudi Supreme Court will declare Eid al-Fitr, but astronomers say that there is no possibility of the sighting of the moon today.
Astronomers have claimed that the month of Ramadan will be 30 days in the Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia and Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday, April 10. However, the Supreme Court will announce Hamti.
There is a strong possibility that the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr will be seen on Tuesday in Pakistan as well. Thus Eid will be on the same day in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The meteorological department says that on April 9, the weather will be clear in Pakistan and the moon will be visible to the human eye.
