Islamabad: Pakistan Hockey Federation appointed Dutch coach Roland Oltmans as the coach of the national hockey team after hiring a foreign coach.
Pakistan Hockey Federation has signed an agreement with Roland Oltmans for two international tournaments. Roland Oltmans will be available for Azlan Shah and the Nations Cup.
Roland Oltmans has been the coach of the national hockey team before. Foreign coaches will join the national hockey camp in Islamabad from April 22.
Hockey Federation has appointed Zeeshan Ashraf, Usman Sheikh and Asif Ahmed as assistant coaches. Ghulam Jilani Goalkeeping Coach, Shahid Faqir Physical Trainer and Dr Asad Abbas Team Doctor have been appointed.
Azlan Shah hockey training camp will start on April 16 in Islamabad, Hockey Federation has announced 57 players for the training camp. Azlan Shah Hockey will be played in Malaysia from May 4 to 11.
