Before the November 24 protest, differences came to light in the district organization of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Peshawar.
Senior Vice President of Peshawar City Malik Aslam and General Secretary Taqdeer Ali resigned from their posts, Taqdeer Ali officially announced his resignation in a video message.
The Senior Vice President also submitted his handwritten resignation to the party leadership, more officials are likely to resign from Peshawar district and differences have come to light over the distribution of posts.
On the other hand, sources say that the central leaders are busy persuading the officials who have resigned.
Talking to the media, President PTI Peshawar Region Arbab Asim said that minor differences keep coming up in the party, there is an issue of distribution of posts which will be resolved.
