LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has criticized the government regarding inflation in the country and announced that there will be a nationwide protest today and a historic sit-in in Islamabad on July 26.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said in the statement that he welcomes the decision of the Supreme Court on specific seats, the Supreme Court has formed a judicial commission to decide each seat on the basis of Form 45.
He said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, the Election Commission has no moral status left, the parties who have made allegations of rigging in the elections have taken specific seats.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the rulers are increasing the electricity bills on the orders of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the ruling elites are also raising cruel taxes and petrol prices.
He said that there will be protests and sit-ins across the country on 14th, people are running “Haqq Du Awam Ko” movement against anti-people measures, they will go to the streets and go to the courts for people’s rights.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that there will be a grand and historic dharna in Islamabad on July 26.
