Former cricketer and Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja termed the changes after the defeat against an average New Zealand team as a “so-called experiment”.
Criticizing the Pakistani team on his YouTube channel, former cricketer Ramiz Raja said that instead of making excuses for bench strength, emphasize the importance of focusing on winning matches, these decisions are demoralizing as a team.
He said that ‘so-called experiment’ is happening in the team, the same players are playing, only their positions are being changed, which is causing loss to the team. Bench strength means giving other players a chance, stop justifying defeat and perform.
Ramiz Raja raised the question that I do not understand the meaning of such experiences from the ICCT20 World Cup. Before the mega event, the team is set, here New Zealand is losing to an average team.
The former cricketer said, “Our batsmen are losing their wickets in adopting today’s T20 format, the strike rate changes with time, the results are not immediate, otherwise the result will be the same.”
It should be noted that in the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore yesterday, the New Zealand C team defeated Pakistan by 4 runs at home ground and took a 1-2 lead in the series.
