A meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur decided to extend Peshawar BRT service to other areas.
In a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it was decided that BRT buses will be operated on Ring Road, Bara Road and Khyber Road.
To reduce rush in BRT, 72 more diesel hybrid buses will be purchased, purchase of new buses and civil works on new routes will be completed in six months.
It was also decided to construct seven underpasses at different places on Ring Road and University Road. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that lack of financial resources will not be allowed to become an obstacle for this purpose.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the BRT service will be further improved in view of public convenience and need.
