Islamabad: The government has decided not to issue Pakistani passports to political asylum seekers abroad.
On the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, a letter in this regard has been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant authorities.
It has been said in the post that passports should not be issued to those who have taken political asylum abroad, and passports should not be issued to those who have applied for asylum.
Sources say that all such Pakistanis who take refuge in other countries on any basis will not get passports, the passports of such Pakistanis will be canceled and they will not be renewed.
