ISLAMABAD: FBR and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce (FPCCI) have agreed not to harass regular tax paying customers and issue notices only to tax evaders and defaulters.
Chairman FBR Rashid Mehmood Langriyal says that the legitimate demands of FPCCI are in agreement with the proposal to remove the requirement of affidavit related to sales tax filing.
FPCCI supports our efforts to provide transparent filing of returns to traders and industrialists.
According to the statement, the delegation led by FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh had a detailed meeting with Chairman FBR. The delegation said that the tax rate should be reduced to reduce the burden of taxes. Very painful.
