Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has reached Geneva, Switzerland from Lahore, where she will undergo a medical examination by her personal physician.
According to party sources, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz left for Geneva on a special flight by Air Force PFF-3.
After staying in Geneva for a few days, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will go to London.
Maryam Nawaz was under treatment at Sharif Medical City Complex Hospital for about 12 hours on Monday. He was admitted to the hospital due to a severe throat infection.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz remained on complete bed rest for 3 days and local doctors allowed international air travel today. Maryam Nawaz’s departure abroad was delayed 2 times in 3 days due to ill health.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already reached Geneva from London. After her medical examination in Geneva, Maryam Nawaz along with Nawaz Sharif and brothers is also likely to visit Britain and various European countries for about a week. Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif will return home together before mid-November.
