ISLAMABAD: Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council Hamid Raza wrote a letter to the Election Commission and denied refusing to take specific seats.
Hamid Raza, chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council, while talking to the media in Islamabad, said that the letter written to the Election Commission is being interpreted contrary to the facts.
He said that after conducting the general elections, the Election Commission writes a letter to all the parties that five percent quota is given to women in the distribution of tickets, that letter is not written only to us but to all the parties.
Hamid Raza said that since the Sunni alliance did not participate in the election, we only told that we did not participate in the election, so we do not have any such list to give tickets to 5 percent women.
He said that we have not said anywhere that we do not want reserved seats, we have the letter, there is no mention of reserved seats in this letter, it should be read on the basis of Article 206, my There is an affidavit that if we contest elections, we will take specific seats.
Hamid Raza further said that my letter has been distorted, we also have the letters of the Election Commission.
