The calendar of meetings of the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been released till April 3. The case of Pakistan is not included in the calendar of the Executive Board till April 3. The IMF meeting regarding Pakistan is expected in the second week of April.
Colombia’s case is included in the IMF Executive Board’s meeting today (Monday), the board will consider Morocco on Tuesday and Algeria’s agenda at its March 27 meeting.
According to sources, the IMF Board will review the World Economic Outlook Report on April 3. Pakistan’s case will be considered by the board after April 15. The IMF concluded the second economic review talks on March 19. A technical level agreement has been reached between Pakistan and the IMF. With the approval of the IMF board, 1.1 billion dollars will be released to Pakistan.
