The 100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange increased by 236 points at the opening of business on Tuesday, taking the index to 71,931 points.
At one point yesterday, the 100 index had crossed the 73 thousand points mark, but the business ended in the negative zone due to which the index closed at 71 thousand 695 points with a decrease of 1047 points.
On the other hand, the dollar became cheaper by 10 paise in the inter-bank, after which the price of the dollar became 278 rupees 30 paise.
