ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the attack on Chinese residents in Bisham was carried out by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, the terrorists involved in the attack have been arrested, and this entire operation was operated from Afghanistan.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi while holding a press conference said that the suicide attack on Chinese engineers in Bisham on March 26 was carried out by terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, and this entire operation was operated from Afghanistan, of which we have indisputable evidence. He said that the main characters involved in the terrorist attack have been arrested.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the use of Afghan territory to attack Chinese citizens is a cause of our grave concern, adding that Pakistan has raised this issue with the interim government of Afghanistan, stressing that they will not be involved in such terror attacks. Stop the kidneys and take action against them but we have not got any positive results yet.
The interior minister said that Afghanistan is providing support to terrorists like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in the border areas. Attacks on citizens and other incidents of terrorism are being involved.
Mohsin Naqvi said that terrorists are taking advantage of the weakness of the interim government of Afghanistan, and these threats coming from across the border are becoming more complicated for the country’s security.
The interior minister said that in the context of terrorist attacks, we have tightened the surveillance on the borders, but still they (terrorists) manage to escape through some way or the other.
He said that the government of Pakistan is well aware of the forces that want to spoil the relations between Pakistan and China.
The Federal Interior Minister said that Pakistan-China relations are of utmost importance, and in this context, the security of the Chinese people is of utmost importance to us. He said that for this we have made new SOPs which are being strictly implemented. And we are taking all possible measures for the security of Chinese citizens.
