Awam Pakistan Party has announced a protest outside the office of K Electric in Karachi on Sunday.
Miftah Ismail, leader of Awam Pakistan Party, says that there will be a protest outside the electricity office today, it has become difficult for people to pay the electricity bill, Nepra should take steps to end over-billing.
He said that the electricity bills should be reduced immediately, the government should reduce its expenses, if the people are being asked to sacrifice, then they should also sacrifice themselves.
He said that 46 percent of the capacity charges goes to the federal government, taxes are being levied on furnace oil and LNG, taxes should be reduced on four government-owned LNG plants.
