Islamabad: Taking notice of the allegations against the ISI by six judges of the Islamabad High Court, the Chief Justice appointed the matter for hearing, for which a seven-member larger bench was constituted.
Taking notice of the letter based on the allegations of six judges, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa appointed a seven-member larger bench for hearing the petition.
The bench includes Justice Athar Manullah, Justice Musrat Hilali, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Yahya Khan Afridi, Jamal Khan Mandukhel and others while the Chief Justice is the head of the bench. A seven-member larger bench will hear the matter at 11:30 on Wednesday.
According to sources, the matter was taken up before a three-member committee to take notice. The Practice and Procedure Committee headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Muneeb Akhtar, approved the automatic notice taking.
