The Islamabad High Court Bar approached the Supreme Court against the alleged interference in the judiciary.
The High Court Bar filed a constitutional petition to investigate the letter of the judges, in which it was requested that the court conduct a transparent investigation in the light of the letter of the High Court judges, and after the transparent investigation, action should be taken against those who humiliate the judiciary. If relevant to the Supreme Judicial Council, the court should send recommendations to the Council for review.
Bar said in the application that six judges of Islamabad High Court described serious incidents in the letter, independent judiciary is the basis of the constitution and the only source of justice, compromise on the independence of judiciary is not acceptable in any case.
