Mumbai: The well-known actress of Indian television industry Ankita Lokhande has reacted to the news about the offer of the third sequel of the super hit film ‘Student of the Year’ by filmmaker Karan Johar.
According to Indian media, Karan Johar is busy preparing the third sequel of his super hit film ‘Student of the Year’ and this time it will be a web series instead of a film.
After this news, the Indian news website News 18 revealed in a report, citing sources close to Ankita Lokhande, that Karan Johar has asked actress Ankita Lokhande to work in the web series ‘Student of the Year 3’. The offer was made but the actress rejected the offer.
Soon after seeing this news, it went viral on social media where users were curious as to why Ankita Lokhande rejected Karan Johar’s offer.
Now Ankita Lokhande has reacted to the news, the actress shared a screenshot of the news from Indian news website News18 on her official Instagram handle’s story.
Ankita Lokhande said that this news is not true, I have not been offered any project by Karan Johar.
Taking a dig at those who spread fake news, the actress added, “I am quite happy with this rumour.”
It should be noted that Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan played the lead roles in the film ‘Student of the Year’ released in the year 2012, while it was the debut film of the three stars.
The success of this film was followed by the release of ‘Student of the Year 2’ in 2019 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sataria in lead roles.
