MUMBAI: Superstar Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Pushpaa 2’ has bagged a major honor even before its release and has become the first pan-Indian film to release in Bengali language.
Pan-Indian films are released in only five languages till now, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, but ‘Pushpaa 2’ will be released in six languages.
Eminent music composer Devi Sri Prasad confirmed this in an interview and said that he had to work for two more months to give Bengali music to the film’s songs.
On the other hand, the filmmakers have shot a huge underwater scene of ‘Pushpaa 2’ while the film will hit the theaters on August 15 this year.
It may be recalled that the international streaming service Netflix bought the digital rights of ‘Pushpaa 2’ for Rs 275 crore and this is the biggest deal for any Telugu film so far.
