Rawalpindi: The wife of missing Deputy Superintendent Jail Muhammad Akram filed an application against the alleged police raid on his house.
Muhammed Akram’s wife, Maimoona Riaz, in a written application given at Sadar Baruni police station, took a stand that the prison police officers forcibly entered the house at 10:30 last night. Jail police officials threatened serious consequences for not handing over the mobile phones.
It has been further stated in the petition that among those who entered the house, there were women and men police officers and also people dressed in plain clothes. The jail staff took away our mobile phones. The name of the jail official who took away the mobile phone is Aamir. Mobile phones should be removed. It has been requested in the petition that legal action be taken against the jail police personnel found guilty of robbery, threats of serious consequences.
