Rawalpindi: Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar has said that he will sit and talk with the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and after the talks, he will be informed about all the things.
On reaching the commissioner’s office, the Federal Minister of Information said in a conversation with the media that Jamaat-e-Islami has issues related to electricity, but electricity consumers using up to 200 units have already been given a subsidy of Rs 50 billion.
Ataullah Tarar said that the government is also starting solar projects, while diesel and oil-powered plants will be closed, installation of solar tube wells will reduce electricity consumption. The aim of these measures is to reduce electricity prices by generating cheap and quality electricity.
He said that no change has been made in the negotiation team from our side, Owais Laghari is not present in the country, he has gone to China.
On the other hand, the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation led by Liaquat Baloch has also reached the Rawalpindi Commissioner’s office for negotiations.
Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam, senior leader of Muslim League (N) Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Prime Minister’s Media Coordinator Badr Shahbaz are also included in the government negotiation team.
