Lahore: Pakistan women’s team player Alia Riaz and famous commentator Ali Younis got engaged.
The simple, joyous ceremony took place in Wah Kent, attended by close members of both families. Ali Younis’ elder brother former captain Waqar Younis also participated in the engagement ceremony.
Both the families tried to keep the engagement ceremony a secret, but after the pictures surfaced on social media, cricket circles have been congratulating them and expressing their best wishes.
It should be noted that 31-year-old all-rounder Alia Riaz has represented Pakistan in 62 ODIs and 83 T20Is. Alia Riaz is known for her power hitting along with her fast bowling skills.
