Lahore: World famous Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar gave a sarcastic reaction to his defeat by social media star Chahat Fateh Ali Khan.
A user on social networking site X (formerly Twitter) said in his post that Ali Zafar and Attaullah Khan Isa Khelvi’s Saraiki song ‘Balu Battian’ had 16 million views in a month while Chahat Fateh Ali’s viral song. ‘Akh Leli Badu Badi’ surpassed Ali Zafar by garnering more than 19 million views in a month.
Responding to X user’s post, Ali Zafar said, “I confess that I was always under the delusion and pride that no one could compete with me.”
It should be noted that the self-proclaimed singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who is famous for his raunchy songs on social media, released his song ‘Akh Lali Badobdi’ on YouTube last month, which immediately went viral in India as well as Pakistan. The song’s YouTube video has received over 27 million views so far.
Chahat Fateh Ali’s song has also become a trend on various social media platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram, while funny memes are also being created on the song which are going viral.
It should be noted that before Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, Queen Tarnam Noor Jahan had sung the song ‘Akh Lali Badobdi’ for the movie ‘Banarasi Thug’ released in 1973.
