ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has amended the PTI era policy and removed the age limit of 65 years for important appointments, paving the way for appointments on a monthly salary of Rs 20 lakh.
According to government sources, the cabinet approved the amendment of the Special Professional Pay Scales Policy 2019, under which the age limit of 65 years for important appointments has been abolished, now the appointment of people over 65 years of age or the post can be extended after 65 years of age. .
On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the committee headed by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb had proposed to abolish the age limit.
