Karachi: Judicial Magistrate Sharqi has handed over the accused social leader Saram Birni, who was arrested by the FIA, to the FIA on a two-day physical remand in the case of child trafficking.

According to sources, FIA has registered the first FIR 26/2024 against the accused Saram Birni. Saram Birni has been accused of smuggling a newborn baby girl named Haya to America in the first case. According to FIA sources, the accused Saram Birni allegedly smuggled 20 newborns to America in the name of adoption in the last one year. More than 15 of the children sent to America are girls.
