ISLAMABAD: The volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia increased significantly during the current financial year.
Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia recorded an annual increase of 47.30% while imports from Saudi Arabia increased by 37%.
According to the data released by the State Bank in this regard, in the first 8 months of the current financial year, the volume of Pakistani exports to Saudi Arabia was recorded at 442.82 million dollars, which is 47.30 percent more than the same period of the previous financial year.
On the other hand, Pakistan received a total of 6.678 billion dollars in foreign aid in the first 8 months of the current financial year.
According to the monthly report issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, during the first 8 months of the current financial year (July 2023 to February 2024), Pakistan received a total of 2.635 billion dollars in assistance from multilateral partners.
