KARACHI: Robber Farhan son of Umarzada who was arrested by Mominabad Police in an injured condition turned out to be a habitual criminal and dacoit gang member.
SSP West Abdul Hafeez Bugti said that the dacoit Farhan, who was arrested in an injured state, had shot and wounded the woman on the leg on resistance during a robbery near Orangi Town Football Chowrangi on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, while a month ago he along with his other accomplices He was also involved in the robbery incident at Bahram Store located in Metroval area of Site A and was seen in the CC footage.
Last year, the arrested dacoit also injured the Suzuki driver by firing on resistance. During the investigation, it was further revealed that he has seized more than 2,000 mobile phones in street crimes since 2022.
His accomplices Adnan and Farhan buy stolen mobiles and sell them by changing their IMEI numbers while the arrested dakita is a habitual criminal against whom he has earlier dacoities in Site A, Mominabad and Pirabad police stations, Gutka.
