Geneva: An emergency meeting of the UN Human Rights Council has been called in Geneva today after the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital Doha.
The meeting, called at the request of Pakistan and Kuwait, will discuss Israeli airstrikes against Hamas leaders.
Israel has called the Human Rights Council meeting ridiculous and said that any outcome will tarnish the human rights system.
It should be remembered that Israel carried out an airstrike on a meeting of Hamas leaders in Doha on September 9, in which 6 people were martyred, but the Hamas leadership remained safe.
According to Hamas sources, at the time of the attack, the meeting was discussing a ceasefire in Gaza and the US President’s proposal.
