Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has shared an emotional birthday message for her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, as he turned eight on October 30.
Taking to Instagram, Sania posted two pictures with her son, captured eight years apart, reflecting on their journey together. Alongside the photographs, she wished him a happy birthday and described him as the best child with the biggest and kindest heart.
She also expressed gratitude for having him as her son, sharing a heartfelt message that touched the hearts of her followers.
Fans and social media users flooded the comments section with birthday wishes, prayers and warm messages for Izhaan.
Earlier, Sania had shared a lighthearted video featuring her son whispering something into her ear. Adding a humorous caption, she joked that 50 per cent of what children say is air, 49 per cent is saliva and only one per cent is information.
She further joked that although she could not understand what her son was saying, he certainly managed to clean her ear.
Sania’s personal life has also remained in the public spotlight. She married former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik in April 2010. The couple welcomed Izhaan on October 30, 2018, in Hyderabad, India.
In January 2024, Sania announced her separation from Shoaib Malik.
