Opposition leader in the National Assembly and senior PTI leader Omar Ayub has said that our soldiers are being martyred, this is the failure of intelligence agencies, intelligence agencies are currently after PTI, while journalists and opposition parties have been strangled through PECA Act.
Talking to the media in Peshawar, he said that police brutality is on the rise in the entire country including Punjab, lawyers’ meetings with Bushra Bibi and the founder of PTI have been stopped, backdoor meetings are not being held with anyone, we are struggling for the release of our imprisoned comrades.
Omar Ayub said that there is no rule of law in Pakistan, people died in a shipwreck on the Libyan coast, people are leaving Pakistan, 29 billion dollars have gone out of the country, our cases are ongoing in military courts, civilian cases should be in civilian courts.
The opposition leader said that we want transparent elections, the day our government comes, we will return the 26th Constitutional Amendment, unfortunately, the fake government has registered illegal cases against PTI workers.
He said that there is no contact with the government, our workers are in jails in various cases, there is no such thing as rule of law in the country, the IMF delegation has met the Chief Justice, the people of Pakistan are leaving the country, what really happened in Libya is unfortunate, inflation is increasing, people’s time buying power has decreased.
Omar Ayub said that a civilian cannot be tried in a military court, we hope that the court will make a decision based on justice, the seniority of judges is being affected after the 26th Amendment, if our government comes, then we will return the 26th Amendment.
He said that there is no government writ in seven to eight districts of Balochistan, those people can raise their voice for freedom at any time, the situation there is worrying, our soldiers are being martyred, this is the failure of intelligence agencies, intelligence agencies are currently after PTI, journalists and opposition parties have been strangled through the PECA Act.
