India has extended the visa of Bangladesh’s fugitive former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid to protect her from punishment.
According to media reports, the Bangladeshi interim government had revoked Sheikh Hasina’s passport on January 7 due to her involvement in enforced disappearances and killings, and the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh had issued an arrest warrant for Hasina Wajid for her involvement in the genocide of innocent civilians.
On the other hand, the Modi government has extended the visa of its puppet Hasina Wajid to protect her from punishment. Hasina Wajid had fled to India as a result of the popular revolution and is residing there.
The Bangladeshi interim government, citing media reports regarding India’s extension of Sheikh Hasina’s visa, has said that the visa issue ends after the passport is revoked.
Indian interference in Bangladesh continued from 1971 until the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s government. Sheikh Hasina has 31 cases of murder, corruption and malfeasance. These cases include 26 cases of murder and 4 cases of genocide.
There are clear examples of Sheikh Hasina’s treason and anti-Muslim hatred. In 2014, Sheikh Hasina placed the leader of the opposition party under house arrest simply for being part of Jamaat-e-Islami. Sheikh Hasina hanged several leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami during her tenure in false and fabricated terrorism cases. In hatred of Pakistan and under the shadow of Modi, Sheikh Hasina had heated up the market of oppression against her own people.
