Islamabad: The students stopped the buses by protesting against the increase in hostel fees by the International Islamic University, the administration called the police, while the administration kneeled down due to the strong protest of the students.
Yesterday, in a protest that lasted for more than five hours, the students stopped the university buses and demanded to withdraw the increase in hostel fees. The students protested against the increase in hostel fees by the administration and demanded that the increase be withdrawn immediately. An attempt was made to remove it, but as a result of strong protests, the university administration withdrew the decision to increase the fee and issued a notification late at night.
According to University spokesperson Nasir Farid, the notification has been issued by withdrawing the increase in hostel fees, other demands of the students have also been accepted, the notification issued is original, while the students have ended their protest after the notification was issued.
It should be noted that even before this, the students had protested against the administration for 13 days demanding that they were forcibly evicted from the hostel and the room allotment should be restored.
