Rawalpindi: Arrest warrants were issued for 25 people including Alia Hamza, Aamir Mughal on charges of arson, vandalism and other charges in Liaquat Bagh protest.
The case related to PTI’s Liaquat Bagh protest in Rawalpindi was heard in front of Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court, in which the court heard Alia Hamza, PTI Islamabad President Aamir Mughal, Shehryar Riaz, Colonel Ajmal Sabir. , issued arrest warrants for 25 leaders including former provincial minister Raja Rashid Shafiq, former MPA Omar Tanveer Butt, Khaliq Ziad Kayani, Taimur Masood.
The court arrested all the 25 named accused and ordered to produce them on October 21. Cases have been registered against all the accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act, burning of government property, vandalism, arson and other provisions.
The Waris Khan Police Station and Taxila Police Station have obtained arrest warrants from the court, after which raids have been started to arrest all the accused.
