MUMBAI: In India, currency notes worth 13 million rupees with the picture of Bollywood actor Anupam Kher instead of Mahatma Gandhi were recovered.
According to Indian media, the police in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat state recovered currency notes worth 13 million rupees, on which the picture of Bollywood actor Anupam Kher was printed instead of Mahatma Gandhi. Instead of ‘Reserve Bank of India’, the fake notes had ‘Resolution Bank of India’ written on them.
In a viral video on social media, Anupam Kher’s picture can be seen on the Rs 500 note instead of Mahatma Gandhi. Anupam Kher, while sharing the viral video of fake notes, wrote on the 500 rupees note my picture instead of Gandhiji. Anything can happen.
Some people bought 2100 grams of gold worth Rs 1 crore 60 lakh from Mehul Thakur, the owner of the silver and gold coin manufacturing firm and paid Rs 1 crore 30 lakh and requested to deliver the gold to the designated place and take the remaining 30 lakh. When his employee arrived with the gold, he was told to bring the remaining 3 million from a nearby shop and then the accused fled. The police have started searching for the accused.
