Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and said that the genocide of Palestinians by Israel must be stopped.
An important meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was held in New York in which the current situation in Gaza was discussed.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that he expresses complete solidarity with the people of Palestine, Israel is committing genocide on the people of Palestine, and strongly condemns the atrocities committed by Israel on the Palestinian people.
He said that the hearts of the Pakistani people beat with the Palestinian brothers, during one year 41 thousand oppressed Palestinians were martyred, their houses were destroyed.
He said that the Zionist forces have completely destroyed cities, villages, hospitals, schools and infrastructure, history has never seen such destruction as was done in Palestine.
The prime minister said that the time has come for everyone to come together and demand a ceasefire in Gaza, and the United Nations should ensure the completion of the independent state of Palestine, because without an independent Palestine, sustainable peace cannot be established in the region.
He further said that the issue of Palestine was prolonged which may destroy the peace of the world while the sacrifices, patience and perseverance of the Palestinian brothers will not go in vain and a time will come when an independent Palestine will be established.
The President of Palestine said that Pakistan has stood with Palestine since the early period before 1948, and helped the Palestinian brothers as much as possible for Pakistan. Pakistan has always fully supported Palestine even in front of the international community.
