The Karachi court rejected the bail plea of accused Sarim Birni in the child trafficking case.
In City Court Karachi, Judicial Magistrate Sharqi Yasri Ashfaq gave a reserved decision on the bail application of the accused Sarim Birni in the case of child trafficking and alteration of documents. The court rejected Saram Barni’s bail application.
Saram Birni’s bail application has also been rejected earlier. The court had reserved its decision on the bail application of Saram Birni yesterday.
Accused Saram Birni is currently in jail on judicial remand. Saram Birni was arrested in June this year on charges of child trafficking. According to FIA officials, Saram Birni is accused of illegally sending more than 25 children to America. Saram Burney and her trust illegally adopted the children to parents living in the United States. The children were shown to be handed over to the Saram Barni Trust in Karachi at various times.
