Washington: A problem has been prepared for Donald Trump, the former president of the United States and the presidential candidate nominated by the Republicans.
The US Department of Justice prepared a new indictment for riots after the 2020 election. The new indictment in the Washington case contains the same four charges that were previously charged against Trump.
The Supreme Court ruled on July 1 that Trump cannot be prosecuted for actions taken during his presidency.
The new indictment does not include allegations that Trump pressured the Justice Department to reverse his election defeat.
According to the new indictment, Trump orchestrated a multi-faceted conspiracy to prevent his defeat of Joe Biden.
A spokesman for the Department of Justice says. The case was presented to a new grand jury, which did not record testimony in the original case.
Donald Trump’s lawyer declined to comment on the new development.
