The second Test match to be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Karachi will be played without spectators.
In a statement issued by the board, it has been said that the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, which will be played from (August 30 to September 3), due to ongoing construction work at the National Stadium Karachi due to preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In this match fans will not be able to support their home team.
PCB says that due to construction work in the stadium, they are unable to host the fans and extreme measures are being taken, they value the fans but their health and safety is paramount.
On the other hand, the board has also suspended the sale of Karachi Test tickets, while the money will be refunded to those who have bought the tickets.
The PCB in its statement added that ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is focused on hosting and upgrading the stadium as it is the first event to be hosted by Pakistan since 1996.
