Petitions against the Anti-Terrorism Court’s decision to grant physical remand in 12 cases of founder PTI Imran Khan have been fixed for hearing in the Lahore High Court.
A two-member bench consisting of Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Justice Anwar Haq Panna will hear on July 22. The Lahore High Court’s Registrar’s Office has scheduled the petitions of founder PTI for hearing.
In 12 petitions filed in the Lahore High Court by Barrister Salman Safdar, the position has been taken that the Lahore ATC did not properly review the records while granting physical remand.
Imran Khan has said in the petitions that he should be imprisoned in the jail, the police have already investigated, the law was not taken into account while giving physical remand, the Lahore High Court should declare the physical remand null and void by the ATC.
