Delhi: Rohit Sharma has been accused of desecrating the Indian flag.
After winning the final of the T20 World Cup, Rohit tried to raise the flag on the field of the Kingston Oval Stadium in Barbados.
Some fans said that it is not appropriate to raise their flag on the land of another country, more blame is being placed on them for insulting the tricolor because part of the flag in the picture is touching the ground below.
Fans are citing the Indian Constitution’s National Honor Act, 1971, which specifies that the flag cannot be deliberately planted on the ground.
